irishhealth.com, - Ireland's leading independent health website , recently ran a poll asking if women should be "allowed" to opt for caesarian section if it isn't medically necessary.
Scarily, 47 % of respondents answered no (to only 45% yes).
This in a society in which young girls are encouraged to have surgery to enhance their looks????
Some of the comments accompanying the poll make for even more scary reading.
Did someone say MArgaret Atwoods 'Handmaiden's Tale' was only fiction?
